The Tiltform Site Cast / Tilt-Up Formwork System is arguably the most novel, simple to use and comprehensive formwork system on the market.

The system takes the Lego concept and applies it to sitecast formwork thereby incredibly simplifying the formwork principles.

The Formwork Concept works on the principle of sliding risers, attached to the edgeform, being clamped vertically in position within a buttress frame. Once the formwork is in position it is easily released by a turn of the screw jack on the buttress.

To set the panel out, there is no need for complex and accurate marking on floor slabs and no need to follow marks on the slab. Instead, the formwork literally moves horizontally in any direction whilst simply maintaining diagonal measurements.

All material error associated with traditional timber / lumbar formwork is eliminated as the formwork is made from highly accurate quality aluminium extrusions. Human error is drastically minimised as panel thickness, height position and fillet chamfer profile and position is determined by the actual system with no reliance on human measurement.

After the buttress frames are secured to the casting bed the system can be fully assembled for every subsequent panel in the stack with no tools. The entire re-forming process only involves insertion of pins, and tightening of wing nuts or knobs – it cannot be any simpler.

The system delivers substantial savings in material cost as all the materials are re-usable time after time, for years in fact, without any significant wastage – unlike timber / lumber that only have minimal re-use.

There are also major productivity increases with the system saving between 50 to 60 % on labour cost over traditional timber / lumbar formwork methods.
